HERBIE’S STORY
 Herbie was injured by a vehicle and had to have his hip pinned together. He was left abandoned in another town and rescued by a concerned citizen who found a home for him here in Newton. Herbie didn’t integrate very well into his new home after a week and he kept getting out of the yard. One night he escaped and was hit by a car, the concerned person took him to a veterinarian. We found his owner, whom after much consideration decided it would be best to surrender the dog to us. We had the veterinarian fix him up and he did very well with his operation and he was placed into a new home where he is dearly loved.
