JOEY’S STORY
Joey was injured by a vehicle during one of his numerous jaunts into town (he lived not far on a busy highway). The owners surrendered him to us and he was fixed up. Joey’s injuries turned out not to be serious, something that a little love and time would heal, but the doctor visits were frequent for dressing changes and those visits did use a small chunk of our Emergency Medical Funds. Joey went to a new home where he gets to stay indoors and has another playmate named Maddie. Maddie is a very spoiled little girl (Schnauzer also) and didn’t quite know what to think of Joey at first. But they are getting along real well now and I’m sure with time Joey will learn to appreciate his spoiled life also.
