MINNIE’S
STORY
Minnie was given to a family after being used for breeding purposes, they
had her for one week but Minnie didn’t get along well with their cat. After
trying several times to reach the person they obtained the dog from
(wouldn’t return calls) they decided they would have to surrender her to us.
We had Minnie for 3 – 4 days before we adopted her into a new home. It turns
out Minnie is heartworm positive and has her first appointment to start
treatment on May 1, 2006. The Caring Hands Humane Society is going to help
with some of this cost. Her new owners love Minnie dearly as she looks just
like one they lost to the other side of the Rainbow Bridge recently. I think
Minnie will do just fine. Watch for future updates!
