Caring Hands Humane Society is deeply indebted to its corps of volunteers. They help with a variety of fun chores, like treating the dogs to a leash walk, dog washes, and helping out around the facility. Volunteering at Caring Hands is a lot of fun. If you are interested, give us a call at 316-283-0839 today or fill out our volunteer application by clicking HERE!!

Volunteers are very important to us! They perform some of the most vital necessities for our animals during their stay. We rely quite heavily on help from people like you to socialize, bathe, groom, exercise and teach them proper manners. These things help ensure they will have a better chance of finding a loving family to live with. Volunteers also take “Silly” to nursing homes, help with off site adopt-a-thons and dog wash day.

If working hands on with the animals is not your cup of kibble but you would like to help the animals in some way, other opportunities are available such as helping with fundraisers or around the office. You might also consider becoming a member!
I  would like to give a big heartfelt thank you to all our volunteers!!

(Kevin Stubbs, Exec. Director)
